Description
University Physicians’ Association is looking for a dedicated team member for a full-time Revenue Cycle Management Support Specialist.
JOB DUTIES:
This description is a general statement of required major duties and responsibilities performed on a regular and continuous basis. It does not exclude other duties as assigned.
- Respond to and resolve support tickets related to RCM software applications in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with login access, user account setup, deactivation, and role modifications.
- Perform routine application maintenance, including minor builds and configuration updates.
- Troubleshoot user-reported issues and work with other IT or vendor teams to resolve more complex problems.
- Use ticketing software to track, manage, and document issues and resolutions.
- Manage and monitor team members and client access to internal and third-party websites/tools required for job duties.
- Maintain and manage passwords and access credentials for various systems and applications.
- Complete payer registration processes to obtain Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) for billing and collections teams.
- Collaborate with revenue cycle staff to understand and support workflow requirements.
- Escalate unresolved issues or system defects to senior analysts or vendors when appropriate.
- Uphold a high standard of customer service, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution of all user issues.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay up to date with system changes, upgrades, and best practices.
- Complete registrations and maintain company access to sites such as Availity, Payspan, UHC Provider Portal, etc for RCM staff.
- Communicate website changes, issues, and enhancements to Leadership.
Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION & TRAINING:
Requires High School education or equivalency, technology courses or college preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledgeable of computers, computer programs, website URLs, password management software, shared email inboxes, and office equipment.
- Understanding of software applications and user support processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Office, etc.).
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new tools and systems.
