University Physicians’ Association is looking for a dedicated team member for a full-time Revenue Cycle Management Support Specialist.
 

JOB DUTIES:

This description is a general statement of required major duties and responsibilities performed on a regular and continuous basis. It does not exclude other duties as assigned.

  1. Respond to and resolve support tickets related to RCM software applications in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Assist with login access, user account setup, deactivation, and role modifications.
  3. Perform routine application maintenance, including minor builds and configuration updates.
  4. Troubleshoot user-reported issues and work with other IT or vendor teams to resolve more complex problems.
  5. Use ticketing software to track, manage, and document issues and resolutions.
  6. Manage and monitor team members and client access to internal and third-party websites/tools required for job duties.
  7. Maintain and manage passwords and access credentials for various systems and applications.
  8. Complete payer registration processes to obtain Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) for billing and collections teams.
  9. Collaborate with revenue cycle staff to understand and support workflow requirements.
  10. Escalate unresolved issues or system defects to senior analysts or vendors when appropriate.
  11. Uphold a high standard of customer service, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution of all user issues.
  12. Participate in ongoing training to stay up to date with system changes, upgrades, and best practices.
  13. Complete registrations and maintain company access to sites such as Availity, Payspan, UHC Provider Portal, etc for RCM staff.
  14. Communicate website changes, issues, and enhancements to Leadership.

Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION & TRAINING:

Requires High School education or equivalency, technology courses or college preferred.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Knowledgeable of computers, computer programs, website URLs, password management software, shared email inboxes, and office equipment.
  2. Understanding of software applications and user support processes.
  3. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  6. Proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Office, etc.).
  7. Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new tools and systems.
