Join our Services_AME team within Services division in United States as Assembly Mechanic to help us take our business to the next level.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Assemble horizontal and vertical pumps using hand, air, and power tools, following detailed Engineering Instructions, Drawings, and Work Orders.
- Utilize heat treating ovens, oxy-acetylene torches, and liquid nitrogen for precise installation of subcomponents.
- Coordinate with fellow Assembly Mechanics to ensure efficient workflow and assist with complex tasks.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in work instructions by collaborating with Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, Planning, and Project Coordination teams.
- Perform detailed grinding on impellers, components, and assemblies to meet exacting specifications.
- Support and participate in company-wide Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs.
- Comply with all safety, health, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
- Follow company and departmental standards and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a mechanical assembly environment preferred.
- Experience with centrifugal pumps preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience in nuclear or highly regulated industries is preferred.
