POSITION SUMMARY:

The Client Care Specialist – Night is responsible for supervising, supporting and providing excellent customer care for clients, families and referral sources in relation to the programs in a manner that is consistent with the philosophy, values, policies and procedures of Onsite. The Client Care Specialist - Night will actively work with the Programming and Clinical departments to provide services to clients while maintaining a safe therapeutic environment.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for night supervision of programs, including but not limited to problem solving and crisis intervention if needed; Perform proper protocol in emergency situations; Be a positive role model to clients and staff
  • Lead group activities; facilitate psycho-educational groups and programs as needed; ensure program schedule is maintained and coordinate with staff to ensure consistent delivery of services
  • Drive clients to outside appointments when needed; facilitate transportation and other needs during an emergency
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and upkeep of facility, performing minor maintenance and clean up duties as necessary or requested
  • Ensure orientation of new clients upon admission
  • Inform therapist by providing daily check in as to client needs; maintain appropriate documentation in client record; provide client updates to clinical team and participate in staff meetings and staff trainings
  • Complete room checks, safety checks and client supervision checks as needed
  • Complete daily Night Supervisor checklist, including but not limited to conducting tours, attending staff meetings, overseeing on call phone, preparation of the sounds system, assisting with registration at beginning of shift, greet late arrivals, preparation work for opening and closing, leading activities and cleanup after opening, closing and activities

  • Actively participate both in obtaining and maintaining Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accreditation by timely assistance with all requests, training and adhering to Policies and Procedures
  • Exhibit understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance policy (e.g., HIPAA, CARF, etc.); knowledge of and adherence to Company policies and procedures, as well as applicable federal / state / local laws and regulations; maintain complete confidentiality in all client/program matters, in accordance with Onsite policy
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Perform other duties as assigned

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 

  • This is a 1099/Contract role with our organization
  • The shift for the position is 5pm - 8am, Wednesday-Sunday overnight. The position does allow candidates to sleep during the overnight hours but will need to be on-call for any client needs or emergencies.
  • We are currently accepting candidates that have availability for any evening between Wednesday-Sunday but prefer candidates we are able to accommodate the entire shift schedule. 
  • Given the nature of the position, this role is required to be in-person. No virtual or hybrid opportunities currently apply to this position.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience: High school education with college level training in relevant field preferred; 12 step/recovery/counseling knowledge helpful; Three years of experience in residential treatment setting preferred; flexible and able to adapt to changes; Understanding of trauma specific issues and sensitivity in providing trauma informed care; Ability to maintain composure when managing crisis situations and implement de-escalation techniques required.
