Description
As a Senior Accountant at SendCutSend, you will play a key role in managing our core accounting functions while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments. You will support our Controller in overseeing daily accounting operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring that financial data is both timely and reliable. This is a full-time onsite position based in Reno, Nevada.

What you’ll do
- Manage core accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal reports
- Support compliance with GAAP, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Partner with the Controller to ensure accuracy of financial data and identify process improvements
- Contribute to cash flow management and forecasting activities
- Assist in annual audits, tax filings, and lender reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial and operational goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to adapt to new platforms and tools
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment
- Clear and professional communication skills with the ability to partner across teams
- CPA designation or pursuit of CPA is preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or a similar industry is a plus
