About the role
We are looking for a Credit Officer to join the growing team on a fixed term, full time basis.
In this role, you’ll manage daily credit operations, including collections on high-value transactions, reviewing credit limits, and producing reports. You’ll work closely with clients, branch teams, and management to ensure accounts are well-maintained and credit risks are minimised. This role suits someone with strong communication skills, commercial credit experience, and the confidence to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Collections – Direct with clients, often involving high value transactions, with new debts falling due every day.
- Managing Credit Limits – Reviewing and preparing submissions for limit increases, or assisting clients to work within their existing credit limit.
- Producing Daily Reports
About you
- Previous Commercial Credit experience – solid understanding of debt recovery processes.
- A clear communicator – both verbally and in writing.
- Sound MS Office skills.
- Decisive – The ability to make decisions based on available data and take a firm stand.
- Integrity – The ability to be consistently honest with yourself and others.
- Managing Performance – The ability to monitor and maintain your own performance, and know when to escalate and discuss issues with your manager.
- Interpersonal Flexibility – The ability to relate effectively to a diverse range of individuals.
