ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and other plant equipment.
- Installs replacement belts, filters, gears, chains, and valves.
- Troubleshoots pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic machine problems and makes necessary repairs.
- Performs repairs to machines involving machine guarding, bolt replacement, and breakdowns due to mechanical wear.
- Welds machine components.
- Performs preventative maintenance tasks such as lubricating parts, drive chains, etc.
- Handles installations, including hooking up air, water, gas, and the alignment and leveling of equipment.
- Resolves all maintenance and mechanical problems promptly with minimal disruption to production schedules.
- Acts as a lead by training, mentoring, scheduling, counseling, and providing guidance to less experienced and hourly Maintenance employees.

- Provides leadership through effective communication and coaching.
- Aids and support as needed.

- Notifies Maintenance Manager when problems arise.
- Maintains open dialogue with the assigned team.
- When approached with feedback and concerns, resolves them in the most direct and positive way possible.
- Ensures all company policies are followed.
- Completes maintenance recordkeeping.
- Keeps record of all work performed.
- Updates maintenance history logs and completes required paperwork.
- Accounts for equipment used for maintenance and repairs.
- Understands and follows the company GMP policy.
- Understands and follows the company safety rules.
- May be required to work long hours and weekends.
EDUCATION: Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
EXPERIENCE:
- Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of DIRECTLY RELATED experience.
- Must have experience in a food processing environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours/shifts as needed.

- Base salary range of $69,135-$93,332;
- Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
