Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Three (3) years of full-time relevant experience. Knowledge of National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships accreditation standards. 

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Five (5) years relevant work experience. Experience with data management in an education setting. Operational experience with dual/concurrent enrollment. Experience with K-16 initiatives. Experience working with a NACEP - accredited program. Experience with enrollment software.

Brief Description of Duties:
The Associate Director of Data, Registration & Billing is responsible for managing the dual and concurrent enrollment student registration and billing processes for the Accelerated College Experience (ACE) program at Stony Brook University (SBU), and for tracking, maintaining, and reporting all program data to key stakeholders including SBU, the State University of New York (SUNY), National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP), and ACE partner high schools. This position reports to the Director of SBU’s ACE program and works closely with SBU colleagues in the Registrar’s office, Bursar’s office, Division of Information Technology (DOIT), and Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Effectiveness. Excellent organizational, administrative, communication, decision­ making, critical thinking, and analytical skills are vital to this role.

Duties:

Campus Liaison:

  • Serve as a liaison between the ACE Office and other SBU offices needed for processes related to registration, billing, and data management.

  • Develop and maintain a database inclusive of all relevant program data and collaborate with colleagues in the Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Effectiveness to develop data visualization templates in Tableau.

Data Management & Data Integrity:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure information in the database is timely and accurate (ex: active high schools, site coordinators, ACE courses and instructors, faculty liaisons).

  • Develop and maintain queries to track information related to program practices, with particular focus on activities related to adherence to NACEP quality and accreditation standards (ex: faculty site visits, teacher attendance at events, compliance with standards).

  • Develop internal processes related to data collection, data recording for all stakeholders.

  • Manage and coordinate changes, updates, and integrations with new and/or existing systems.

Reporting:

  • Provide support to the ACE Director to disseminate enrollment and revenue data, and to evaluate program effectiveness through the collection and analysis of program data.

  • Prepare revenue reports for the ACE Director and Senior Director of Finance for Continuing, Professional, and Online Education. 

  • Work with CPOE Finance & Operations team to validate and reconcile revenue budget to actuals.

Other duties or projects as appropriate to rank and departmental mission.


Special Notes:
This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Minimum salary threshold must be met to maintain FLSA exemption.

In addition to the employee's base salary, this position is eligible for $4000 UUP annual location pay, paid biweekly.
