Job Summary:
Under limited oversight, the Human Resource Coordinator II will oversee and lead routine HR functions under the direct supervision of Regional HR Director. Job duties include onboarding new employees, timecard reviews, processing employee change forms, addressing employee relations issues, and enforcing company policies and practices. The HR Coordinator will work closely with CenExel corporate HR, Payroll, and Benefit functions.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assists Talent Consultant in the recruitment functions such as interviews, offers, background screening and onboarding.
- Under supervision may handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- May assist HR management by providing support in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Submits bi-weekly payroll to Corporate payroll manager.
- May participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Supports and ensures strictest adherence to best practices, FDA Code of Federal Regulations, ICH (International Conference on Harmonization), GCP (Good Clinical Practices), CenExel standard operating procedures, site working Practices, protocol, and company guidelines and policies.
- Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned. The above responsibilities are a general description of the level and nature of the work assigned to this classification and are not to be considered as all inclusive.
Education/Experience/Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must have proper experience and demonstrate mastery of HR Coordinator I position.
- A minimum of two years of human resource administrative experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Working Conditions
- Indoor, Office environment.
- Essential physical requirements include sitting, typing, standing, and walking.
- Lightly active position, occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
- Reporting to work, as scheduled, is essential.
- Ability to travel within assigned region.
- On site work arrangement.
