(This is a maternity contract with the prospect of being longer term). 
 
Our dynamic, well-established and friendly CS Litigation Team is looking for an enthusiastic, driven and highly skilled Non-Contentious Probate Solicitor to assist them in offering friendly and exceptional legal services to their clients. You will provide advice on trusts and probate law whilst assisting other contentious fee-earners within the team where necessary.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of probate and trust matters. You will have the opportunity to take on significant client-facing responsibilities, representing clients in sensitive and high-stakes legal matters, while benefiting from a collaborative and supportive environment.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven solicitor to join a reputable litigation team that values professional growth, client service, and a balanced work culture.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Qualifications
 
  • Qualified to practice in England & Wales/registered legal executive
  • Completed the Legal Practice Course
  • Fully qualified STEP member (preferable but not essential)
 
Experience
 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar field (or ability to demonstrate equivalent skills)
  • Experience preferably gained in a Legal 500 ranked firm.
  • Experience of delivering excellent customer care in a legal environment
 
Knowledge
 
  • To have up to date knowledge of wills, trusts and probate processes, procedures and legislation
