Join our dynamic team as a Logistics Relationship Representative, known internally as "National Accounts Specialist" and step into a pivotal role within our National Accounts team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that every pickup and delivery appointment is meticulously scheduled, guaranteeing correct transit times and handling any issues that arise during transit or at the shipper/receiver. You'll also play a crucial role in maintaining our high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and efficiently.

Essential Job Duties

  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to understand their needs and deliver exceptional service, ensuring their satisfaction every step of the way
  • Utilize EDI systems to monitor load tenders, accepting or rejecting them based on agreed rates and commitments
  • Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments for National Accounts loads, factoring in transit times and other variables to ensure smooth logistics
  • Handle any logistical challenges or issues that may occur during shipping or delivery
  • Process claims and accessorial requests promptly and accurately
  • Maintain transportation tariffs and oversee dispatch status documentation electronically
  • Generate daily reporting information to terminals and customers
  • Run daily excel reports to monitor freight tracking for each National account
  • Handle Overages, Shortages, and Damages reporting to the appropriate claims departments for disposition
  • Provide after-hours on-call assistance and direction to dispatch
  • Give direction to dispatch after careful evaluation of issues that arise; accidents, problems loading/unloading, etc.
  • Monitor and respond to correspondence with agents
  • Undertake additional tasks as needed to support our National Accounts customers, contributing to our overall success

Requirements


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of office experience
  • 1+ years of logistics experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong typing skills and technically savvy
  • Customer service oriented
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to efficiently pivot from one task to another and reprioritize throughout the day
  • Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English in a professional manner
