Description
The Customer Service/Logistics Representative serves as one of the primary business contacts for the customer and is responsible for overall customer satisfaction. This position is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent customer needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Works as a part of a cross-functional team and individually to service the customers
- Facilitates and assists with sales to customers
- Answers phone calls and emails and enters orders into the order system
- Helps coordinate internal & external carriers (truck/rail/water) for product delivery
- Provides additional remote coverage for scaling trucks at plants
- Assists and completes tasks and special projects, typically MS Excel intensive
- Ensures high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintains high level of product knowledge.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Motivated, goal-oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator
- High level of initiative and works well in a team environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel, & computer applications
- Handles stressful situations, deadlines, and pressures well
- Bilingual Preferred
- Core onsite hours are M-F, 7:00AM to 5:00PM
