The Contract Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and maintaining records of contractual agreements. This role ensures compliance with company policies and legal regulations, supports internal stakeholders in contract-related matters, and facilitates efficient contract execution and renewal processes.


Essential functions include managing contract templates, coordinating with legal and business teams, tracking contract performance, and ensuring timely renewals and amendments. The specialist must possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned.)


Contract Lifecycle Management Duties:

  • Draft, review, and manage contracts in collaboration with legal and business teams.
  • Maintain and update contract templates and standard clauses.
  • Ensure contracts comply with internal policies and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Track contract milestones, expirations, and renewal dates.
  • Coordinate contract approvals and signatures using electronic systems.

Operational Support Duties:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure contract terms align with operational needs.
  • Maintain accurate and organized contract records in the contract management system.
  • Assist in resolving contract disputes or issues in coordination with legal counsel.
  • Support audits and reporting requirements related to contracts.

Compliance and Risk Management Duties:

  • Monitor contract compliance and identify potential risks or deviations.
  • Recommend improvements to contract processes and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive contractual information.

Other:

  • Comply fully with company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned as required.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

  • · Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field required.
  • · 3–5 years of experience in contract management or legal operations preferred.


Other Skills and Abilities:


Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to follow direction, assess Company needs and work independently. Computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Office software and ability to learn company specific software. Must be able to project a professional attitude and image appropriate for the work environment.


Ability to participate and contribute in a team environment as a team member. Oral and written communication is clear, concise, and effective.
