About the Company
Biolinq is a venture-backed digital health company developing a wearable biosensor platform that measures biomarkers important to the management of many clinical conditions including diabetes. This dynamic role is a part of a team of engineers and scientists developing a novel intradermal biosensor technology and the associated software data extraction and rendering SDK that will transform the way people manage their metabolic health.
Job Purpose
The Production Planner 2 plays a critical role in bridging strategic planning and operational execution for our innovative Biowearable medical devices. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining a long-term view of production capacity while ensuring the short-term production schedule is executed efficiently to meet daily demands. The ideal candidate will optimize the facility’s output potential by coordinating resources, materials, and workflow across Commercial and R&D builds. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in manufacturing planning in a Pilot and production environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain long-term production capacity plans aligned with business forecasts.
- Execute short-term production schedules to meet daily demand and customer delivery targets.
- Manage build request process for R&D builds, including review, routing, scheduling, training, preparation, and execution
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain to anticipate and resolve resource constraints.
- Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans as needed to address changes in priorities or constraints.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements. Implement corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
- Balance workloads across shifts and departments to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.
- Support both Commercial and R&D production builds, ensuring alignment with project timelines and specifications.
- Issue, track, and complete work orders in NetSuite, ensuring accurate routing and transaction processing.
- Monitor work order status and aging; attend regular meetings to review aging reports and drive timely completion.
- Ensure work order documentation and transactions are complete and compliant with internal standards.
- Allocate materials to work orders and R&D build requests based on schedule priorities and inventory availability.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Inventory teams to resolve shortages and ensure timely material flow.
- Maintain visibility into material constraints and escalate risks to schedule adherence.
- Act as a liaison between planning and project teams to ensure smooth execution of new product introductions and experimental builds.
- Provide regular updates on production status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, changes, and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 standards and other regulatory requirements throughout the manufacturing process.
- Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for manufacturing planning and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in production planning or manufacturing operations, preferably in the medical device or biotech industry.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite work order processing and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience supporting both Commercial and R&D environments is a plus.

As part of our efforts to ensure fair and equal pay based on merit, Biolinq supports pay transparency internally and during the recruitment process. The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this role is: $70,000 to $85,000 annually. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. Actual compensation packages are commensurate with experience and based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate including, but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, education, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the job across the U.S. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans. Biolinq also offers a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick time, parental leave), medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans and any written agreement between the parties.
