Director of Sales
Schedule: Hybrid role requiring regular travel to locations throughout NYC and dedicated time for administrative duties
Salary Range: Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 per year

The NY Preschool & Kids Club is seeking a Director of Sales to lead company-wide sales strategy and execution across multiple locations in NYC. This individual will be responsible for building a cohesive and effective sales pipeline, driving local partnerships, leading a high-performing field team, and ensuring all customer engagement activities are supported by a robust and well-maintained CRM system.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Pipeline Development
- Design and lead a comprehensive sales strategy focused on increasing enrollment across early childhood education, enrichment classes, and seasonal camps
- Conduct market analysis and needs assessments to inform offerings and drive customer-centric product evolution
- Monitor, analyze, and improve each stage of the customer acquisition funnel to optimize conversions and retention
Field Sales Team Leadership
- Direct a cross-functional field sales team, including Site Directors and Client Experience Coordinators, by creating clear sales processes and performance targets
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship to drive consistent execution of sales strategies across all sites
- Align field efforts with central goals, ensuring unified messaging and a streamlined customer experience
Community Engagement & Business Development
- Cultivate partnerships with residential communities, schools, local businesses, and family-focused organizations to generate leads and drive awareness
- Lead the planning and execution of on-site events, seasonal campaigns, and referral initiatives
- Act as a brand ambassador at community functions and networking events
CRM Ownership & Optimization
- Serve as the internal owner of the organization’s CRM system
- Ensure the accuracy, cleanliness, and usability of sales and customer data
- Regularly analyze CRM data to produce sales insights and pipeline reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance CRM functionality and support sales workflows
- Drive CRM adoption across field teams by implementing training and accountability systems
- Full-time, Monday–Friday with occasional evening/weekend events as needed

Requirements
This job is for you if:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field (or commensurate experience) required
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in a multi-site or service-driven environment required
- Demonstrated success in designing and implementing sales strategies that generate measurable growth
- Hands-on experience managing and optimizing a CRM platform (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use CRM data for reporting and decision-making
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Physical exam and background checks are required for this position.
Physical Demands: The role involves standing, walking, sitting, constant movement, and occasional climbing. The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds is required. Specific sensory abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjustment of focus.
