Department Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager to join the Enterprise Portfolio Management team with a focus on strategic planning and alignment across GBS (Global Business Services) Transformation, Global People, Global Impact and Global Supply Chain strategic priorities.

This individual will serve as a strategic connector across functions and markets, helping to shape and evolve enterprise-wide planning processes, governance, and tools. The ideal candidate will bring strategic agility, comfort with ambiguity, and a strong ability to lead cross-functional alignment in a complex, global environment.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Alignment
    • Partner with Corporate Strategy and Finance to coordinate the integrated business planning process for strategic priorities across GBS Transformation, Global People, Global Impact and Global Supply Chain.
    • Lead cross-functional engagement with stakeholders across functions to gather planning inputs and update enterprise planning artifacts.
    • Facilitate functional deep dive sessions during planning season to support market understanding and alignment with global initiatives.
    • Partner with Global Technology Strategy & Planning to ensure integration across Consumer and Restaurant Platform strategic priorities.
  • Roadmap Management:
    • Support management and integration of enterprise and market roadmaps and ongoing change control to ensure limited deviation from plans and business cases.
    • Execute robust processes for monitoring and tracking integrated roadmap progress, ensuring timely achievement of milestones.
    • Continuously evaluate and refine the roadmap, adapting plans to accommodate changing priorities, resources, or external factors.
  • Enterprise Portfolio Management
    • Support the activation and scaling of the Enterprise Portfolio Management team, scaling throughout the multi-year transformation journey, enabling a culture that values collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Support the embedding of leading class governance, processes, and tools that align the organization to “One McDonald’s Way” of how we manage our portfolio of strategic priorities.
    • Drive visibility and integration of the transformation portfolio across strategic platforms (Consumer, Restaurant, Company).
    • Partner with Change Management and Communications to foster alignment and communicate progress across the organization.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Represent the team in enterprise planning forums and strategic alignment sessions.
    • Lead cross-functional workshops and present to leadership on planning progress, risks, and opportunities.
    • Facilitate horizontal coordination among program teams to promote a shared understanding of interdependencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, Technology, or related field.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in enterprise-level planning, strategy, transformation, or portfolio management.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional governance and planning processes in a global organization.
  • Strategic thinker with strong critical thinking, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience engaging with senior leadership and driving alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience with McDonald’s or similar global, matrixed organizations is a plus.

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $149,260 - $190,310 per year.
