Position: Working Student - Lab Operations
Duration: 03 months
Location: Germany, Ulm; 100% presence on site mandatory
Responsibilities
You will:
- Manage inventory databases, ensuring accurate imports, exports, and backups for equipment tracking.
- Coordinate equipment reservations to optimize resource utilization for lab activities.
- Create and maintain dashboards and scorecards to visualize lab performance metrics.
- Perform regular asset updates, ensuring all equipment records are current and accurate.
- Document area usage and track space allocations to enhance lab efficiency.
- Measure ESD floor conditions to maintain safe operational standards within the lab.
- Update building maps and flowcharts using Visio to improve navigation and space planning.
- Support photo records to document lab setup and equipment conditions for audits.
Qualifications
You have:
- Active student status for at least 1 year.
- English fluency (mandatory).
- Strong interest in Lab and IT sectors.
- Availability to work 100% on-site.
- Flexibility to work Monday – Thursday, 16 hours/week over 3-4 days between 10:00-16:00.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and support.
- Previous experience in laboratory environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
