The QA Clerk is responsible for the gathering, compilation, and data entry of Quality Assurance measures.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS ::- Gathering and compiling information for QA measures.
- Reviewing data for conformance with regulations and communicating compliance issues to appropriate staff.
- Generating and distributing reports.
- Data entry tasks.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
- Follow workplace safety rules, including PPE, preventing, and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout Tagout procedures and process safety management related matters.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma/ or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year food manufacturing experience required.
- Must be able to have a flexible schedule, work weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
- Sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character.
- Can perform basic mathematics.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Know how to effectively manage time to complete all assigned tasks.
- Be able to communicate effectively with other hourly employees, plant management, and USDA personnel.
- Knowledge of GMP’s.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

- Able to handle the weight of 8 to 10 lbs. repeatedly.
- Occasionally lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 70 pounds.
- May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
- May be exposed to noise up to 110 db.
- May be exposed to chemicals used in the processing facility.
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the position as directed by Case Farms.
- Able to stand or freely move for the duration of shift.
- When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
- May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
