Position Overview
The Project Management Associate, Learning Products supports the development and implementation of STEM learning products and services that meet the needs of learners from low-income and historically marginalized communities. This role works under the direction of the Senior Director of Learning Products to coordinate projects, track progress, and ensure high-quality delivery of initiatives across the learning product portfolio. The position collaborates closely with product owners, contractors, and cross-functional partners in R&D and partnership success, as well as events and other organizational partners, to keep projects aligned with goals and timelines. This non-exempt role reports to the Senior Director of Learning Products.
Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Support the planning, execution, and tracking of projects within the learning product portfolio, occasionally taking lead on selected projects.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, task lists, and progress trackers.
- Help identify project risks and work with team leads to develop mitigation strategies.
- Provide logistical leadership for meetings, workshops, and product launches and liaising with educators and participants.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Liaison for colleagues across R&D, marketing/engagement, events and partnership success to align deliverables.
- Coordinate communication between teams to ensure timely updates and information sharing.
- Assist in gathering and organizing feedback from educators, learners, and partners to inform product improvements.
Operational Support
- Monitor and advise on project budgets, contracts, and resource use under the guidance of the Senior Director.
- Support the development and documentation of processes, workflows, and best practices.
- Manage inventory of program supplies.
- Maintain dashboards, prepare reports, presentations, and data summaries to support decision-making.
Continuous Improvement
- Track metrics and key performance indicators for projects.
- In collaboration with implementation team members, collect, analyze, and report data to evaluate product effectiveness.
- Contribute ideas for improving efficiency and quality in product development and delivery.
Requirements and Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, program support, or a related role (experience in education, learning products, or nonprofit settings a plus).
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Kanban, or similar).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with diverse teams and partners.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and project management software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Project Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.

Working Conditions and Schedule
- Schedule includes occasional weekend and evening work as programmatic and organizational needs require.
- This is an on-site role with the possibility of flexibility for working some days at an alternative work location. Flexibility will vary depending on the needs of the job.
- Limited travel (domestic) may be required, up to 5%.
