To support our ongoing growth, we are looking for an Analytical Lab Technician. This dynamic role focuses on laboratory equipment and inventory management, statistical analysis, and product testing. As invoX expands, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an innovative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Analytical Lab Technician will conduct the day-to-day operation of the laboratory, including the routine qualification, maintenance, and calibration of equipment, inventory management and aerodynamic testing.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Lab Management: Maintain lab equipment and inventory, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines. Conduct and support qualification (IQ, OQ) of equipment.
  • Product Testing: Perform a variety of tests on inhaler devices, including particle size distribution and active substance quantification.
  • Data Reporting: Record, analyse, and report experimental results with precision. Present findings to both internal and external teams to drive the ongoing development of our products.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

We’re looking for a motivated and adaptable individual who is passionate about contributing to the field of respiratory healthcare. You should be committed to following through on work requests, clarifying when necessary, and demonstrating creativity to improve efficiency.

Essential:
  • A degree in chemistry, pharmaceuticals, or a related field, with industry experience in an analytical or R&D laboratory within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Experience with management and use of analytical equipment, within the pharmaceutical or related industry.
  • Strong skills in organisation of activities within the laboratory.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.
Desirable:
  • Experience working in GxP environments and familiarity with regulatory standards such as ISO 13485 or USFDA medical device guidance.
  • Experience in statistical methods for inhalation devices and formulation test methods.
  • Experience in implementing and utilising an electronic laboratory notebook. 
  • Experience transitioning databases from semi-manual or manual systems to electronic platforms.
