Position Summary
The Associate Account Development Executive wins new CRM business from a small portfolio of automotive dealership accounts by building business relationships through face-to-face sales contacts such as dealership visits and other prospecting activities.
The AADE also works in conjunction with Senior ADEs participating in sales cycles with large opportunities. Although the primary goals include achieving assigned sales plans, i.e Sites, Quota and/or sticks, this role is comprised of “apprentice-like” job responsibilities and functions, in order to achieve the knowledge necessary to quickly earn the potential for further career opportunities such as an Account Development Executive. (ADE).
Territory includes West and PNW - must live in territory to be considered
Position Responsibilities & Essential functions
Develop target account pipeline. Identify, and work opportunities contained within portfolio of accounts.
Create a disciplined and process-oriented approach to help Generate revenue.
Work with internal teams through the sales and implementation process.
Focus on consultative relationship with the client by developing an understanding of their unique business needs and challenges.
Develop understanding of specific CDK products and their functionality.
Gain an understanding of the industry segment and keep abreast of competitor developments in the market and portfolio of accounts.
Qualifications
At least 1-2 years of demonstrated ability to build business relationships in a b2b sales environment.
Ability to manage a complete sales process.
At least 1-2 years of experience managing account plans, work opportunities, and closing business.
Knowledge of automotive retail processes and products.
Level of comfort with digital technology solutions.
Experience utilizing CRM.
Willing/Able to travel 50% to 75%.
Preferred:
Initiative and initiative-taker.
Must be willing to relocate if the opportunity presents itself.
Bachelor’s degree
We seek individuals with the ability to demonstrate time management, telephone sales skills and knowledge of CDK products and services (training provided). A goal-oriented individual with superior communication skills and the ability to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment is ideal. The demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts is required. Successful candidates will have the ability to use innovative sales approaches to challenge and influence the prospect to consider CDK Solutions. Salary = $70,000 + Uncapped Commissions
