About this Opportunity
We are currently recruiting a Lead Nuclear Technical Engineer (Safety Case) to join our team at our Warrington office.
Our Independent Nuclear Assurance (INA) Team has supported the Ministry of Defence’s (MoD) submarine Naval Nuclear Propulsion Programme for over sixty years, delivering independent nuclear safety and technical advice in support of both in-service and future designs of Naval Reactor Plant (NRP). This includes working with a wide range of technical specialists to provide effective, balanced and proportionate advice to some of the most complex, challenging and important projects within the UK.
With the security of a long-term arrangement to continue this support, an opportunity has arisen to support the next generation of nuclear submarines. This Nuclear Technical Engineer role would ideally suit an experienced safety case engineer with a passion for NRP safety; however, applications are welcome from civil nuclear or other high hazard industries. Consideration would also be made towards those earlier in their career looking to step up into a more senior role, with the provision of comprehensive domain training and development opportunities.
