Role Overview:
Are you passionate about cybersecurity and identity management? We’re looking for a Group IT Identity & Access Management (IDAM) Specialist to join our team and play a key role in securing access to our IT resources. Reporting to the Infrastructure & Cloud Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and optimizing IDAM systems, ensuring secure and compliant access across the organization. This is a pivotal role with no direct reports but significant influence over our security posture and user experience.
Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on…
- Administering and managing IDAM systems including identity provisioning, authentication, authorization, and access control.
- Designing and implementing role-based access control (RBAC) policies.
- Managing authentication mechanisms such as SSO, MFA, and password management.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Monitoring IDAM systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Supporting end-users with access requests, password resets, and IDAM-related issues.
- Maintaining detailed documentation of IDAM configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborating with IT teams to ensure cohesive system operations.
- Delivering training sessions and promoting best practices in identity and access management.
- Driving continuous improvement by staying current with IDAM technologies and trends.
Your previous experience is likely to include….
- Extensive hands-on experience in managing IAM systems and user identity lifecycles.
- Proven track record in implementing and enforcing access control policies.
- Experience with authentication technologies including SSO and MFA.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong background in security monitoring and incident response.
- Maintaining audit-ready documentation and supporting compliance efforts.
- Holding relevant certifications such as CISSP, CIAM, or CISM.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and improve IDAM systems and processes.
