About the Department
Position Duties
1. Assist in the supervision of all activities of the assigned athletic program.
2. Develops and maintains a positive relationship with the high school coaches of the district.
3. Maintain a cooperative and supportive relationship with the administration, faculty, and support staff.
4. Assist in the supervision of the student athletes participating in his/her athletic program in the areas of conduct and academic performance.
5. Assist in maintaining and reporting accurate scholarship information to the Director of Athletics, Director of Financial Aid, Registrar, and others as needed and as assigned by the head coach.
6. Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of athletic supplies and equipment assigned to his/her program.
7. Coordinates, through the head coach, 1requests for repairs and/or improvements of assigned facilities.
8. Participates in maintaining an effective and continuous recruiting program.
9. Must be knowledgeable of NJCAA and MACC rules and regulations. Adherence to these rules and regulations is mandatory.
10. Fulfills other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, required
2 years of relevant work experience, required
Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office applications, satisfactory written and verbal communication skills, knowledgeable of basic first-aid techniques
