About the role:
The complexity we're solving in AI infrastructure is matched only by the complexity of finding people who can solve it. We are looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter who's as passionate about finding exceptional talent as we are about building exceptional technology. You'll be at the center of building the teams that will define the future of AI development, working closely with hiring managers to identify and attract top-tier talent in the rapidly evolving AI/ML space.
Beyond full-cycle recruiting, you'll have opportunities to partner with technical teams on hiring strategy and contribute to longer-term talent initiatives as we scale, making this an ideal role for a recruiter who wants both hands-on impact and growth opportunities.
LOCATION: Candidates based in the US are welcome to apply. You can work out of our office in Los Altos, CA or remotely from home. Onboarding for new hires is conducted in-person in our Los Altos, CA office.
What you will do:
- Full-cycle recruitment from sourcing to offers for mainly technical roles in the AI/ML space, including cloud inference, or AI/ML/model serving, compilers, kernel, performance, and optimization.
- Conduct initial application reviews and screening calls, and move candidates through the process in a timely manner.
- Ensure an excellent candidate and internal stakeholder experience for your roles.
- Communicate effectively with hiring teams and exchange information with all levels of management.
- Opportunity to work on longer term recruiting related initiatives as we grow and scale.
What you bring to the table:
- 5+ years of technical recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting in the AI/ML space and a strong understanding of the technical requirements for Modular’s roles is a must, especially in AI/ML Infrastructure or Cloud Inference, or AI/ML/model serving.
- High-growth startup experience or passion and/or willingness to work in a high-growth environment.
- Strong time-management, organization and prioritization skills, and ability to adapt to changing requirements.
- Excellent accountability, work ethic, integrity; you take ownership and pride in your work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Alignment with Modular’s Culture and Values.

The estimated base salary range for this role to be performed in the US, regardless of the state, is $160,000.00 - $180,000 USD.
The salary for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of permissible, non-discriminatory job-related factors, which include but are not limited to education, training, work experience, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future. The total compensation for a candidate will also include annual target bonus, equity, and benefits, with equity making up a significant portion of your total compensation.
