We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead our Microsoft Professional & Managed Services sales function. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, ensuring sales execution excellence, and building a high-performing team aligned to Microsoft’s co-sell ecosystem. You will be responsible for leading strategic sales campaigns, coaching and developing sales talent, and ensuring rigorous pipeline and forecast discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Execution

- Own and drive the Microsoft Professional & Managed Services revenue number across new business and existing accounts.
 - Lead from the front in strategic pursuits, co-selling with Microsoft and other key partners.
 - Inspect and challenge sales campaigns to ensure quality, velocity, and alignment to customer needs.
 - Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene through regular reviews and CRM discipline.

Team Management & Coaching

- Build, lead, and inspire a team of high-performing sales professionals.
 - Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and development to elevate sales capability and performance.
 - Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Partner Ecosystem Engagement

- Operate within Microsoft’s co-sell framework, leveraging Solution Partner designations and certifications.
 - Build strong relationships with Microsoft field teams and partner managers to drive joint go-to-market success.
 - Align with internal practice leads, pre-sales, and delivery to ensure solution integrity and customer satisfaction.

Strategic Planning & Market Insight

- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Microsoft 365, Azure, Data Platforms, AI and Security managed services.
 - Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to inform sales strategy.
 - Contribute to quarterly business reviews and strategic planning cycles.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

- Proven track record in leading sales teams within a Microsoft partner environment.
 - Deep understanding of Microsoft’s commercial models, co-sell motions, funding and managed services landscape.
 - Strong commercial acumen with experience in complex solution selling and deal structuring.
 - Demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales talent.
 - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
 - Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics 365,) and sales performance metrics & reporting.

Desirable Qualifications

- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, MS-900, or equivalent).
 - Experience with frameworks such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Solution Selling.
 - Exposure to industry sectors or regulated industries is a plus.
