Arobas Personnel is seeking a Security Architect/Engineer for a contract with one of our clients located in Montreal.
*Remote : Hybrid- 3 days/week on site*
Key Responsibilities
As a Security Architect/Engineer, your missions will include:
- Leading the architecture and engineering of security solutions in your scope of responsibility.
- Contributing to production stability and ensuring that security controls are effective and sustainable.
- Supporting security analysis activities and providing expertise in your domain.
- Evaluating, designing, developing, deploying, testing, and transitioning security solutions, processes, and tools.
- Managing the lifecycle of related projects and ensuring delivery within scope and deadlines.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation associated with security architecture and engineering.
- Providing expert support for security processes and tools under your responsibility.
- Collaborating with IT architects and cross-functional teams to integrate security capabilities into IT services, processes, and tools.
- Defining, maintaining, and enforcing security policies, procedures, baselines, guidelines, and standards.
- Ensuring that security measures are robust, efficient, and complementary to existing system capabilities.
- Participating in both internal and external audits.
- Overseeing administrative controls and supporting Service Delivery Management for security solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of professional experience in the technology field, including at least 5+ years in cybersecurity.
- In-depth expertise with SIEM technologies.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in designing and maintaining SIEM log collection mechanisms and use cases.
- Proven experience deploying and configuring the Elastic Stack (Logstash in particular).
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
- Strong understanding of security concepts, architectures, and technologies.
- Ability to present complex security solutions and methods to technical and non-technical audiences.
Assets
- Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) are a strong plus.
- Prior team leadership experience will be considered an asset.
