The approximate date of this internship is January 2026 to June 2026 and will be located in Glendale, CA or Orlando,FL.    

As a Menu Planning intern you will support the WDI Menu Planning & Partnership Planning group within the Global Creative Strategy Studio by analyzing experience development and performance data and providing valuable business tools and analytical insights! This role will report to Manager, Menu Planning and Development 

What You Will Do  

  • Apply data analytics to address sophisticated business problems and provide key insights to WDI leaders to make more informed creative investment decisions 

  • Source, input, and maintain relevant product data for global park experience assets including operational performance, consumer insights, financial metrics, etc. Identify gaps and work to leverage partner input. Improve process for sustaining data management 

  • Analyze data sets to identify trends and insights using different analytical techniques (ex. statistics, forecasting, optimization) 

  • Communicate results through compelling presentations by tying together logical aspects of the story with graphics, charts, and verbiage 

  • Consolidate findings from recently opened experiences to help improve future development decisions 

  • Support the team in research questions, industry insights and trends analysis, and ad-hoc projects 

  • Strategically assist in producing planning materials and analysis – from early draft to final form 

 

Required Qualifications & Skills  

  • Be comfortable in speaking and sharing ideas in a highly collaborative team environment 

  • Strong eye for visual/graphic methods of communication 

  • Ability to synthesize and convey complex information in a concise way 

  • Detail-orientation, planning, editing/proofreading, and organization skills 

  • Ability to successfully multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment with multiple assignments 

  • Willing and able to quickly grasp and learn new concepts and the relationship of those concepts 

  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite including advanced Excel skills 

 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Experience with data visualization tools e.g. Tableau and Airtable (or similar) 

  • Experience with presentation tools e.g. Keynote, PowerPoint 

  • Broad understanding of The Walt Disney Company, Disney Experiences, and the theme park industry 

 

Education 

Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher attending an accredited college/university, earning a degree majoring in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field 

 

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information 

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: 

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship  

  • Be at least 18 years of age  

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization  

  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.  

 

Additional Information 

  • Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work  

  • Must be fully available for the duration of the internship  

  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship in Glendale, CA  or Orlando, FL.

 

The pay rate for this role in California or Florida is $26.50 per hour for undergraduate students and $27.50 per hour for graduate level students.
