Operating in the Fintech space, Bravura has around 1,000 employees across EMEA and APAC. Bravura is a trusted partner to over 350 leading financial services clients, delivering wealth management technology and products.Position PurposeThe Head of IT is responsible for leading Bravura’s organizational technology transformation strategy, infrastructure, and IT operations across multiple sites in EMEA and APAC.This is a pivotal role focused on internal systems transformation suitable for a modern technology business, improving global IT standards, and delivering business value in a complex organisation. The role will work closely with senior leadership, with support from a global team of around 35 FTE.The Head of IT plays a key leadership role in driving innovation, digital transformation and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesWhilst we expect all our team members to do what needs to be done to demonstrate their support of Bravura Solutions, below are some specific aspects of your role for which you will be responsible:IT and Security StrategyOwn, develop and execute the organisation’s IT and Information Security strategy, collaborating with senior stakeholders and aligning with the business goals.Provide expert advice to the Executive Team on emerging technologies, cyber threats, risks, and investment opportunities.Team Leadership & Development             Support and develop internal IT and InfoSec teams, creating clear structures and improved, scalable processesFoster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, efficiency and innovation in alignment with the Bravura values.IT Operations Management        Oversee day-to-day IT operations including corporate infrastructure, applications, networks, and end-user support.Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and meet performance and governance expectations.Information Security      Lead Bravura’s cybersecurity program, ensuring protection of data, systems, and intellectual property.Oversee threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and penetration testing.Establish secure architecture, access controls, and monitoring frameworks.Vendor Management    In collaboration with the Procurement team, identify, select and oversee external vendors, optimising cost and delivery.Governance, Risk & ComplianceWorking with our GRC function, establish and maintain IT and information security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).Lead Bravura’s cybersecurity strategy to ensure data privacy and protection.Educate staff and promote security awareness throughout the organisation.Financial ManagementEnsure projects are delivered on time and within budget constraints.Evaluate and implement cost-effective technology solutions to drive efficiency and scalability.Engage with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver technology solutions that add valueKey skillsSolid proficiency in enterprise architecture, infrastructure, cloud computing, applications and cybersecurityDemonstrated ability to lead and develop world-class technology teams.Commercial acumen and an ability to simplify and improve systems and processes.Excellent strategic planning, organizational, and execution skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Experience presenting to executive teams and board members.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High level of integrity and professionalism.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field is preferred.Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale IT modernisation projects.Strong understanding of IT governance, risk, compliance and relevant legislation across multiple geographies/ jurisdictions.How you can make a differenceOpportunity to shape and own the IT vision of a market leading technology business, in an autonomous role.Influence decisions at a group level while driving real change within your team.Modernise our established technology architecture to assist in delivering increased business profitability and growthBe part of a great business culture with technology at its core.          Share this job:
