Student Assistant Celebrity & Influencer Marketing*

in Bonn

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of one year. There are good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany. You will work 20 hours/week, to enable you to continue your qualification within the framework of your current studies. Mobile work within Germany is possible in agreement with your team. 100% mobile work is not possible. The position is remunerated with 15 Euro per hour.

Are you looking for a student job that goes beyond the ordinary — where you can be creative, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to something meaningful? At Welthungerhilfe, we work with celebrities, creators, and influencers to bring urgent global issues into the spotlight and inspire action. As part of our Celebrity & Creator Relations team, you’ll dive into the world of campaigns, events, and digital storytelling. From brainstorming new ideas to shaping content and supporting high-profile collaborations, you’ll be right at the heart of making our messages seen and heard. And while you contribute your skills and creativity, you’ll also have plenty of opportunities to learn, try new things, and grow within a supportive team that values your input.

Your responsibilities

    • You will work in the Celebrity & Creator Relations area and be a full part of the team from day one.

    • You research suitable influencers and celebrities and support communication with agencies and partners.

    • You prepare our project content so that it is visually and conceptually compelling – for example in PowerPoint presentations, Canva flyers, or factsheets.

    • You bring together information from various Welthungerhilfe projects and turn it into clear, convincing stories for different audiences.

    • You are open to working on several projects at the same time and can respond flexibly to short-term requests – always with the support of your team.

    • You are involved in campaigns from the very beginning: from brainstorming and content briefings to coordination and evaluation – with plenty of room for your own ideas.

    • You keep an eye on social media trends and share your analyses.

    • You help maintain the file structure in MS Teams – supporting project management is essential.

    • You pitch in with the organization of live events such as charity galas, concerts, or campaign launches.

    • In your work, you pay attention to inclusive, discrimination-free communication – we support you with exchange and feedback.

Your profile

    • You are an enrolled student (e.g. in communications, media, marketing – or another field with an interest in communication).

    • Social media and influencer marketing are your passion – you spot trends quickly.

    • First practical experience in marketing, PR, or social media is a plus, but not a must.

    • You are familiar with MS Office and Canva; you’re comfortable with social media platforms and analytics tools, and ideally you already have some first experience with AI.

    • You identify with the values of Welthungerhilfe and bring an awareness of inclusive, decolonial communication.

    • A driver’s license is an advantage.

    • You are fluent in German and English – both written and spoken.

What we offer

  • Valuable Insights: Get the chance to explore the NGO world beyond your immediate responsibilities and expand your professional perspective.
  • Flexibility: We offer flexible working hours to help you balance your work and ongoing studies.
  • Modern & Agile Work Environment: Be part of a forward thinking organization that fully embraces digitalization and innovation across all areas.
  • Personal & Professional Growth: Access diverse learning and development opportunities to advance your career.
  • Team: Join our dedicated and diverse teams, where passion, expertise, and joy come together to create a better world.
