About the Role:
The Staff Therapist at our outpatient facility in LaGrange County plays a critical role in delivering high-quality therapeutic services to patients with diverse physical and mental health needs. This position involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote patient recovery and well-being. The Staff Therapist collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care. Additionally, the therapist monitors patient progress, adjusts treatment strategies as necessary, and provides education and support to patients and their families. Ultimately, this role aims to enhance patient outcomes by fostering functional independence and improving quality of life through compassionate and professional therapeutic care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or a related therapeutic discipline.
- Current and valid state licensure or certification to practice as a therapist in the relevant field.
- At least two years of clinical experience in an outpatient or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic assessment tools and intervention methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in outpatient rehabilitation or community health settings.
- Certification in specialized therapeutic techniques or modalities relevant to patient populations served.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation standards.
- Additional training in behavioral health or chronic disease management.
- Bilingual abilities or experience working with diverse patient populations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical, emotional, and cognitive status.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical best practices.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes.
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory and facility standards.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic goals, techniques, and home exercise programs.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

This position is onsite at the LaGrange County office.
First shift, Full time.
The work hours include Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. The only expectation is one evening until 7:00pm.
Salary is based on experience.
