Position Summary: Responsible for building a profitable insurance agency through developing of highly successful team of multiline insurance agents. Ensures that marketing strategies are effectively executed throughout the agencies. Monitor and support
sales agents in attaining the agency’s achievement of growth of members, Life and P&C premium, and policy count. Reaches and
exceeds sales goals by ensuring the agency is adequately staffed and trained. Be an active leader in the community in which you
reside.

Reports to: District Sales Manager from whom all work direction is received.

 

Minimum Knowledge and Job Requirements:

• Requires a minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent. Continued education preferred.
• Requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Agent with Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance or equivalent business
experience.
• Ability to monitor, coach, and measure Agents work performance.
• Requires or quickly develops a general knowledge of Company’s organizational structure, personnel policies and operating
methods and procedures.
• Requires the ability to set own priorities, assume responsibilities without direct supervision, exercise initiative and
judgment, and make decisions within scope of assigned authority.
• Requires the ability to work well under pressure and the ability to work extended hours as needed.
Certifications/Licenses: Valid driver’s license; Requires a valid Indiana Agent’s Life and Property and Casualty license. Securities
licensed or twelve months from hire date to obtain securities licenses (6 & 63).


Physical Requirements and Reasonable Accommodations:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to convey information and communicate. The employee
frequently is required to move, traverse inside an office environment, operate office equipment (computers, keyboards, telephones,
printers, scanners etc.), and detect information necessary to make decisions. The employee is also required to move and traverse
outside the office environment, including travel to / from / between both the Home Office and field offices. Reasonable
