Description
The Community Engagement Ambassador is responsible for creating a strong community presence in all markets within Park City Credit Union. Utilizing events, social media and business and community outreach to share the credit union’s mission, brand, and
products/services. Works closely with Branch Managers of each market, VP Business Development, Indirect Manager, Park City Cares Foundation and Elevate to assist with ideas and materials to support their outreach. Performs outreach in all markets on their own or partnership with others as needed.
Manages the credit union’s In-Branch Marketer, Park City Cares Acts of Kindness and Snapshot Rewards programs. Participates in product and service demonstrations and snapshots for marketing pieces. Plans, coordinates and participates in credit union and
community events, and seminars in all credit union markets. The Community Engagement Ambassador oversees the execution and record retention of the donation and sponsorship budget approved by VP Member Engagement and makes recommendations on requests received outside the approved budget.
Requirements
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Spend time in each market of the credit union to meet with business and community outreach staff and enhance community involvement. Looks for opportunities to achieve the strategic goals of the organization.
Ensure those performing business outreach have the materials to support strong execution of outreach activities with new, existing and prospective businesses, members, auto and rec dealers, realtors, etc. to promote growth and development of the credit union. May participate in business outreach activities with others or perform on own.
Keep the credit union visible in all branch markets and continue to share the credit union’s commitment to the communities we serve by seeking, planning, prepping and participating in community events, and leading in-branch seminars. Oversees and maintains a robust social media presence focused on community events, financial education, and outreach initiatives. Is the Banzai
Champion of PCCU and promotes use of the site and presentation material offered with the program.
The Community Engagement Ambassador is dialed into the communities we serve. Reads local papers, community newsletters and social posts. Attend community meetings and make recommendations to VP Member Engagement of ideas and strategies on how park city credit union could integrate and get visibility to grow opportunities for product/service awareness.
Manages the credit union’s random act of kindness Park City Cares Acts of Kindness program. Ensures impactful acts are being executed consistently across the credit union’s footprint. Creates and updates a robust list of possible acts to make execution easier. Creates social posts highlighting our acts.
Returns calls, emails and meets with marketing sales representatives and non-profit organizations seeking donations. When presenting a donation, sponsorship or event request that isn’t preapproved in the plan/budget, investigate past participation,
debrief notes, consider value and visibility, resources needed and present a recommendation to VP Member Engagement.
Acts as the marketing team liaison for retail teams by leading the In-Branch Marketer program. This includes concise and timely communications surrounding campaigns, promotions, sponsorships and events. Distributes campaign materials and guidance of
placement to ensure a cohesive look throughout our branches. Drives strong conversations within the credit union and in the community by providing conversation starter and sales tips to help recognize the member’s needs and present the
appropriate benefits. Gathers information on community events and shares PCCU sponsorship events and other community events using Paylocity.
Coordinates the credit union’s Snapshot Rewards program. Works closely with all members of the Marketing Department to find the right employee/member/family member to participate in photo shoots, video shoots, demos and social media content. Arranges and preps the models and areas for photo/video shoots. May take photos/videos or participate as a model.
Records video and takes pictures for marketing and donation initiatives. Write press releases, social posts, radio scripts, employee emails and communications, invitations, calendar invites for events and phone systems messages. May also partner with other members of the marketing department to write campaign copy and paragraphs for the PCCU website.
