Responsibilities
- Work with creative team to concept, write, present, and defend work while addressing client needs; craft original concepts and execute copy based on established voice/tone
- Demonstrate execution of innovative and effective communication across multiple industries, markets, and media
- Write in diverse copy styles across a range of assignments as relative to client needs
- Work with team to garner insights from project research
- Analyze problems, anticipate consequences and eliminate obstacles to successfully complete projects
- Quick with wit, gives options, builds on humor within the work, and finds unexpected ways to say straight copy
- Concept and collaborate on campaign ideas and cross-platform tactics with a multi-disciplinary team while working on multiple projects
- Manage and prioritize work within project timelines for project milestones
- Lead the copy discipline in internal and external client meetings
- Collaborate with design partner – have the ability to think for both art and copy to provide a solution
- Proactively research and pursue ideas for continued professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year university or two-year portfolio school
- Outstanding portfolio showcasing cross-platform experience which may include campaigns in TV/video/radio, digital and social
- Strong conceptual thinker
- Expert written, verbal, and presentation skills; comfortable talking about work, comfortable selling your work
- Understanding of and ability to work within CMS and/or email and social platforms
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
