Description
Photon Brothers, a solar energy company, is seeking a motivated Customer Acquisition Specialist (Temp-to-Hire) to handle inbound leads across multiple offices and qualify potential customers.
This role is structured as a temporary position beginning upon hire and continuing through January 16, 2026, with the possibility of conversion to a regular, ongoing role based on performance and business needs.
We are looking for an expert communicator and multitasker who understands customer needs and can explain our products and services in a professional, friendly, timely, and educational manner. We pride ourselves on a no-pressure sales approach while offering an excellent customer experience.
This position is hybrid-remote, with 2 days working in the office. We have office locations in Westminster, Centennial, and Colorado Springs, CO, as well as San Luis Obispo, CA. This position reports to the Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Build rapport and engage prospects via phone, email, text, and other messaging platforms
- Work within our CRM and other tools to manage the flow of inbound leads
- Identify prospect needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Set up virtual or onsite appointments between prospective customers and Sales Consultants
- Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects
- Meet monthly and quarterly KPI goals for qualified opportunities set
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative, Sales, Customer Service, or similar role
- Hands-on experience with sales prospecting techniques (phone, email, social outreach)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience working with a CRM (Hubspot preferred)
- Basic understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Solar industry experience preferred
