Position Summary:

This position performs various inspection activities to verify compliance with established requirements. Participates in completing and approving process related QMS documentation.  


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes drawings, specifications and instructions to perform inspections at all stages of product realization including incoming, in-process, final acceptance, and servicing. 
  • Participate with product development teams to support all required inspections and/or verification to established requirements.  
  • Drives completion of production related QMS process including NCR, Temporary Deviation, and ECO implementation.  
  • Calibrates measurement and test equipment. 
  • May assist in the training of inspectors and other employees in various facets of Quality Assurance. 
  • Executes core duties and responsibilities of the role in accordance with the established skills competencies. 
  • All other duties, as assigned. 

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 
  • 2-4 years of manufacturing / Quality experience is required. Experience in the medical device manufacturing industry is preferred. 
  • Must be proficient using basic measurement tools (calipers, rulers, gauges).  
  • Must have working knowledge of IPC-A-610, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies. 
  • Computer competency in MS Office; Outlook, Excel, Word and ability to enter and maintain information needed within the HRIS System is required. Knowledge of Paylocity HRIS is preferred. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including willingness to participate in cross-functional projects and teams. 
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
