Optim Health is seeking a full time Human Resources Representative for the Savannah, GA location.

Immediate Supervisor Title: Chief Human Resources Officer
Job Supervisory Responsibilities: None
General Summary: A non-exempt position responsible for functions related to Human Resources, personnel information, and employee documentation.Essential Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the following tasks for employees;
· Ensures employment labor law posters are accurate and updated in all locations
· Tracks all required items for HR compliance and Hospital, Surgery Center and Clinic inspections to include;
· New Hire and Annual Reviews
· Job Descriptions
· Competencies
· BLS/ACLS/PALS
· Licenses and Certifications
· Primary Source Verifications
· Background Checks
· Required Annual Training
· Completes all employment verifications both written and verbal
· Handles enrollment and assistance with all gym memberships
· Creates and maintains electronic personnel folders
· Organizes, coordinates and tracks new hire orientation
· Oversees and handles employee recognition program
· Primary Contact for daily/normal/routine Human Resources items
· Other duties as assigned
Education: College degree or equivalent
Experience: Minimum two years of experience in administrative/Human Resources position, preferably in health care.

Performance Requirements:
Knowledge:
1. Knowledge of Human Resources and employment documentation.
2. Knowledge of how to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Human Resources software applications.
3. Knowledge of licensing and certifications in healthcare.
Skills:
1. Skill in using human resources computer capabilities including database management software.
2. Skill in clear presentation of personnel information during surveys and inspections..
Abilities:
1. Ability to establish/maintain effective relationships with staff at all levels.
2. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information in a professional manner.
3. Ability to plan and coordinate multiple administrative projects.
Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.
Work Environment: Position is in a well-lighted office environment. Occasional evening and weekend work.
Mental/Physical Requirements: Involves sitting approximately 90 percent of the day, walking or standing the remainder.
