SUMMARY
Using their acquired banking experience, the Deposit Risk Analyst will be responsible for researching regulations and assisting with the collection of sampling and review of processes in the deposit arena.
Research will require the use of the bank’s core system, transaction research software, and regulatory websites. This position assists the managers on the Bank Secrecy Act and Bank Risk Review to prepare foe reviews and collect statistical data for management reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Pulling queries and inputting samples to prepare for reviews. Utilize various programs such as Horizon 360, Coldplus, HR reports, etc. to generate samples for the testing period and input them to AuditBoard.
- Cross-train to complete work steps for bank and departmental audits.
- Complete follow up testing for issues as they become due, as assigned and reviewed by manager.
- Collection of Key Risk Indicators from various managers to complete the quarterly assessment for management.
- Collect various statistics for the Compliance Management Committee reports.
- Perform quality control reviews of Monetary Instrument Logs and Data Validation.
- Review a sampling of high risk customers and Customer Due Diligence.
- Perform reviews of FDIC insurance data files and other compliance exception reports.
Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position.

Banking/Audit experience
Investigations experience
Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Access and Word)

Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear
Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching
Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workday
Long periods of typing and repetitive motion
Ability to lift and/or move and carry up to 5 pounds
