Overall Summary:
The Quality Control Specialist partners with internal department and client services members. They thoroughly review client signoff files prior to client distribution for final approval.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Review pre-flight Content Development job instructions for completeness and accuracy; verify all required components and documents are in place.
- Compare proof letter composition sign-offs against client data and job instructions; follow internal workflow; ensure accuracy of letter text and variable fields.
- Track quality defects; ensure that they are addressed and resolved.
- Oversee quality control and/or regression tests as directed.
- Write program and/or process documentation when needed.
- Perform other (or other related) duties as applicable or assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
- Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat proficiency.
- Ability to efficiently enter data while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented and highly accurate.
- Excellent math skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a fast-paced work environment with changing priorities.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree with concentration in Graphic Arts or Printing preferred.
- 1+ years’ experience in quality, printing, direct mail, or a combination of any preferred.
- Previous data entry experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work 10 hours consecutively, four days a week.
- Available to work overtime when needed.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Salary:
The starting wage range for this position is $20-$24/hr
