About the Department
Position Duties
Directsknowledge of the principles and practices of supervision to participate in decisions on hiring, retention, discipline, and other personnel matters; supervises and manages activities of staff that includes determining work procedures and schedules and developing methods for expediting workflow; approves employee requests for leave and overtime as required by operational necessity; evaluates employee performance; coaches and counsels staff to achieve improved performance and productivity; recommends corrective disciplinary action as needed; identifies individual training needs in order to achieve greater departmental performance and productivity.
Demonstrates motivational leadership to provide staff with support; provides administrative supervision to staff around issues of client assessment, treatment planning, and case plan implementation; advises workers in gathering facts, appraising and evaluating needs, and formulating and implementing viable solutions; assists as required to achieve recovery.
Utilizes quality assurance tools to help organize the CLTS Program; develops quality assurance/quality improvement systems to improve effectiveness and compliance of services within the program.
Applies audit process knowledge to assist in preparing for audits of the program; identifies and interprets audit standards; collaborates with staff to determine internal procedures; gathers and organizes supporting documentation.
Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in social work, nursing, psychology, or related field.
Five (5) years of experience working with individuals with substance abuse and/or mental health concerns.
One (1) year of previous leadership experience.
Appointment will be conditional upon successful completion of criminal and caregiver background checks.
Must have valid driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and access to private transportation for work-related duties.
Must possess and maintain personal automobile insurance in the amount of $100,000/$300,000.
Other Qualifications
Master's degree in social work.
Three thousand (3,000) hours of paid experience where the majority of clients were children or adults with mental disorders or substance use disorders.
