Overview:

 

We are seeking a technically strong and hands-on Systems Engineer to support the development, validation, and optimization of hardware and software for our Systems Manager platform. This role will focus on embedded systems development, Linux-based platform support, hardware-software integration, and system-level validation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with embedded hardware, firmware development, Linux internals, and system troubleshooting.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze system requirements and propose robust engineering solutions.

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of embedded control platforms including gateway hardware and system manager components.

  • Perform integration, testing, and validation of hardware/software systems in lab and field environments.

  • Design and implement functional and performance test plans; analyze and interpret test data.

  • Debug complex hardware and software issues at the system level and provide solutions.

  • Collaborate with global development teams for system alignment, code reviews, and technical troubleshooting.

  • Support the creation of accurate documentation of designs including schematics, prints, diagrams, quality check sheets, and bills of material.

  • Support field deployments and provide technical assistance for integration with third-party systems.

  • Ensure engineering work complies with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in hardware/software system engineering with a focus on embedded systems and Linux-based platforms.

  • Proficiency in Linux administration, kernel modifications, and driver integration.

  • Experience with firmware development (C/C++, Python, or similar) and embedded system debugging.

  • Experience with IoT, industrial automation, or refrigeration control systems.

  • Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and low-power embedded designs is a plus.

  • Knowledge of networking, cybersecurity principles, and cloud integration is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
