YOUR ROLE:
You will support the team in various matters and provide advisory services to members of the firm.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Identifying conflicts of interest and developing ethical walls;
Maintaining and applying compliance procedures in various situations;
Drafting various reports and files;
Analyzing information in accordance with regulations and policies;
Contributing to multiple compliance-related projects;
Ensuring ongoing training for teams and designing/updating procedural documents;
Acting as the go-to resource for employees regarding compliance programs.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Postsecondary degree in law;
Membership in a Canadian provincial bar is a definite asset;
Relevant experience in a similar role within a professional services environment;
Strong bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written;
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
Autonomy, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage priorities;
Attention to detail, proactivity, and analytical thinking;
Strong communication skills and excellent client service.
