Job Summary
At Foundation Technologies, we help businesses Get Back to Work by removing technology barriers with a particular focus on Apple environments. As a Help Desk Technician, you’ll be part of the first line of support for organizations that depend on Apple devices to run their day-to-day operations. You’ll work alongside a team of people-first technologists who blend technical skill with real-world empathy, solving problems quickly and clearly for end users. Whether assisting a nonprofit creative team or a growing retail brand, you’ll make a measurable impact by ensuring clients stay productive and confident in their tools.
Responsibilities:
- Support multiple clients with diverse IT environments.
- Handle escalated help desk tickets and troubleshoot more complex issues.
- Configure and support software applications and cloud services.
- Collaborate with onsite technicians to resolve user issues.
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
- 2+ years of IT support experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across macOS, Windows, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with MDM, Active Directory, and SaaS applications.
- Strong documentation and process improvement skills.
Preferred Skills:
- ITIL certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience with RMM tools and scripting.
- Prior experience in a multi-client MSP environment.
Expectations:
- 85% Reactive work, 15% Proactive work, 0% Project work
- Working in office until utilization exceeds 75% of goal consistently for four weeks in a row
- Paid on call for at least four weeks per year
- Weekly billable goal of 28 hours
This position is bonus eligible, up to 5% of annual salary based on company and team performance
