Job Summary:
onsemi is seeking a highly motivated Process Technician in our Gresham, OR site. As a Process Technician at onsemi's premier 200mm manufacturing facility, you will work in a dynamic team environment assisting the Manufacturing and Engineering Teams to ensure product conformance while meeting goals for wafer moves, yield, quality and cost. A standard workday may include hold lot disposition, interrupted lot process intervention, excursion containment and disposition, running engineering experimental wafers, troubleshooting manufacturing and tool issues, and generating written passdowns for the oncoming shift. Each day you will be challenged by working on a diverse set of tools and processes with a world-class team.
Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, e/o Saturday 6:00PM-6:06AM
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include
- OOC event response.
- Hold lot dispositions.
- ILP recoveries and documentation.
- ERR coordination.
- Beyond OCAP troubleshooting and resolution.
- Process and Metrology tool operation certifications.
- Excursion co-ownership with ILM and other process areas.
- SPACE and Yield Driver chart monitoring.
- Passdown documentation.
- Coordinating ENG passdown requests.
- Processing wafers in support of ENG project work.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Minimum High School degree.
- Prior semiconductor technician experience is a plus.
- Experience with the following process tools is a plus. CMP Novellus and AMAT polishers, Photo TEL ACT8 and DNS 200W tracks, Photo ASML scanners and Nikon steppers, ThermaWave Optiprobe, KLA CD SEMs and Registration tools.
- Regular interaction with the shift Manufacturing Supervisor.
- Dotted line reporting to the shift Manufacturing Supervisor.
- Able to partner and effectively interact with shift Supervisors, Maintenance technicians, and Manufacturing Operators to achieve common goals.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Able to work independently under general guidance and direction.
- Able to independently learn systems and processes associated with the role.
- Able to think rationally in high-stress situations.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
