As an Assembly Test Operator, you will be a necessary member of a team that works on the exciting process that converts batches of blank silicon wafers (called wafer lots) into carriers for completed integrated circuits. At our Burlington site, our Operators work with the completed carriers to test and assemble them in order to get them out and into the world as soon as possible!

Responsibilities
Your day to day as an Operator will consist of the following:
- Performing specific back-end semiconductor manufacturing functions that are integral to the production of semiconductor devices.
- Operating various equipment in order to perform the following functions: material preparation, process set-up, solder printing, component attach, wirebond, encapsulation, dicing, electrical test operation, documentation completion, data entry, process monitoring, and inspections.
- Performing and supporting device assembly and test operations as assigned
- Working a shift schedule (8 hour shifts, either during the day or the afternoon), and having the flexibility to change shift assignments from time to time as needed
- Executing tasks and assignments in a timely and effective matter
- Performing in-process inspections, SPC data entry and MES transactions

- Are interested in learning what it's like to work in a highly-controlled, laboratory-like environment, called a clean room.
- Have no problems wearing a hairnet, safety glasses, facemask (covering nose and mouth), lab coat, and ESD shoes throughout your 8-hour shift. These dressing requirements help protect the highly-sensitive tech products you will be working with!
- Enjoy doing detailed work in a clean and structured environment, and following established safety and quality procedures.
- Have a desire to learn and grow in the manufacturing or semiconductor industries!
- Have the drive and capability to be cross trained (learn more than one job or operation).
Qualifications
- Ability to demonstrate computer proficiency and receive a passing score on a job-specific computer assessment
- Dexterity, and the ability to handle and manipulate small parts that are as small as ¼ of a centimeter
- Ability to follow instructions and complete things correctly the first time
- Ability to work 8 hour shifts on a rotating schedule (as needed, with notice—see below)
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to stand for at least 85% of the time during any particular shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
- Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in both a team and independent environment.
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively to push tasks through to completion.
- Reliable transportation in order to get to work everyday
