The Firm is seeking an Administrative Supervisor. This is an exempt position located in our Jackson, Tennessee office. - Supervise clerks, seasonal clerks, and receptionists in the Jackson offices.
- For non-Jackson offices, in consultation with the members at each office, oversee work assignments and tasks of clerks and receptionists.
- Provide assistance to Firm Administrator as needed.
- Responsible for oversight of all building maintenance and necessary repairs.
- Keep schedule of all building maintenance projects – including but not limited to HVAC unit service, roof maintenance, painting, carpet/floor cleaning and replacement, etc.
- Responsible for overseeing janitorial service.
- Purchase office supplies for all Firm locations, oversee inventory, handle invoices, etc.
- Oversee closed filing – ensuring closing procedure is followed and maintained.
- Prepare work areas for new employees (ordering nameplates, office supplies, having office/work area cleaned, etc.).
- Other duties may be assigned by supervisor(s)
Requirements
- This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and its applications, excellent organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- This position requires that the employee be able to lift boxes up to approximately 40 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and frequently walk up/down stairs.
- Must have valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance and reliable transportation.
