Position Summary: The Business Services Operations Manager is a passionate, member-focused individual that is responsible for implementing and supporting a full suite of business banking services for members, including operating accounts, ACH origination, digital business banking, treasury management, merchant services, business credit cards, and more.
This role serves as the owner and champion of business services, working closely with the branch network, relationship development team, and business members to deliver exceptional service and financial solutions that drive member success.
Schedule: Approximately 40 hours within a Monday through Friday work week
Work Location: Southeast Idaho, Twin Falls, or Boise

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary support resource for the branch network, providing expertise on product knowledge, identifying sales opportunities, and resolving operational issues.
- Act as the main point of contact for designated business members, delivering high-quality service and proactive financial guidance.
- Proactively identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through tailored product and service solutions.
- Respond to inquiries related to business accounts, loans, treasury management, and other credit union products.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of credit union products and services, including deposit accounts, loans, and business financial solutions.
- Assess and underwrite ACH transaction limits based on business account performance, financial reviews, and credit risk analysis.
- Monitor and review ACH activities, identifying potential risks and recommending adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with Lending, the Branch Network, Relationship Development Officers, the Contact Center, IT, and Product Management to ensure seamless operations, sales coordination, and product development.
- Partner with Risk Management and Compliance to ensure full adherence to regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices.
- Monitor account activity to detect trends, issues, and opportunities for cross-selling additional services.
- Represent the credit union at community events, networking opportunities, and industry conferences.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the digital business banking platform, training both members and branch staff to maximize adoption and self-service.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience in business services, lending, or a related area OR a high school diploma plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant banking or credit union experience; or a combination of formal education, training, and applicable experience.
- Financial Acumen: Strong knowledge of financial principles, lending, and business banking practices.
- Risk Management: Experience with ACH risk assessment, transaction monitoring, and compliance oversight.
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with credit union/banking regulations and compliance requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to evaluate complex situations and provide effective solutions.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical information for members and staff.
- Member Service: Passion for helping members succeed through personalized and professional service.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
