Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your electrical engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll contribute to delivering high-quality electrical designs that meet project requirements and timelines. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business (e.g., mechanical designers, system engineers, and project managers), ensure configuration management of deliverables, and continuously improve processes through Return on Experience (REX) management from previous projects.

You’ll specifically take care of designing train electrical architecture, cubicle layouts, and wiring routes, but also specifying electrical apparatus and producing pure principle schemes (PPS).

We’ll look to you for:

  • Delivering the right product at the right moment to the project

  • Producing apparatus specifications, connector coding specifications, and cubicle specifications

  • Creating and managing electrical deliverables such as PPS, SPS, CPS, routing, and wiring lists

  • Supporting harness case design and calculations

  • Ensuring adherence to Preferred Parts List (PPL) and project standards

  • Managing subcontracting activities, including input and output deliverables

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

  • 2-3+ years of experience in electrical and electrotechnical engineering

  • Proficiency in electrical CAD tools (e.g., E3 or similar) with at least 2-3 years of experience

  • Experience in creating and modifying electrical schematics

  • Knowledge of cable selection and sizing, as well as other electrical components

  • Familiarity with panel or harness manufacturing production support

  • Railway industry experience is a plus

  • Experience with Catia V5 is an asset

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Fluency in French & English

  • Organized, resilient, and hands-on approach

  • Able to work in an international, multi-site, and matrix organization structure

  • Proactive mindset with a focus on process and deliverable improvement

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
