The Budget Process Accounting Analyst manages all expense tracking and associated reports, identifying errors and savings opportunities in addition to developing or modifying forecasting tools for each general ledger account accurately predicting department expenses for the following year. This position also supports administrative responsibilities for the leadership team (scheduling meetings, updating presentations,%3Cspan style=%22mso-spacerun:yes;%22%3E%26nbsp; %3C/span%3Ecreating reports, etc.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EResponsibilities:%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cp style=%22font-family:Calibri;font-size:11.0pt;margin:0in;%22%3ECreate EA1, EA2, and MBBP during the budget planning cycles throughout the year.%3Cspan style=%22mso-spacerun:yes;%22%3E%26nbsp; %3C/span%3EDetermine expected spend for each GL in Client Services across all cost centers. Partner with VROs and CS Leaders to ensure future planning and cost adjustments are accurate.%3Cspan style=%22mso-spacerun:yes;%22%3E%26nbsp; %3C/span%3EDevelop or modify forecasting tools for each general ledger account to accurately predict department expenses for the next year.%3Cspan style=%22mso-spacerun:yes;%22%3E%26nbsp; %3C/span%3EReconcile current and future FTE needs across all cost centers to ensure salary/fringe is accurate.%3Cspan style=%22mso-spacerun:yes;%22%3E%26nbsp; %3C/span%3EDevelop presentations and walk slides as required, to explain YOY changes and justify expense. (20%)%3C/p%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cp style=%22font-family:Calibri;font-size:11.0pt;margin:0in;%22%3EMonitor SAP expenses weekly in all cost centers.%3Cspan style=%22mso-spacerun:yes;%22%3E%26nbsp; %3C/span%3EInvestigate anomalies and potential errors and%3Cspan style=%22mso-spacerun:yes;%22%3E%26nbsp; %3C/span%3Ere-class entries as necessary by month end.%3Cspan style=%22mso-spacerun:yes;%22%3E%26nbsp; %3C/span%3ECoordinate with other departments as needed to ensure awareness. .%3Cspan style=%22mso-spacerun:yes;%22%3E%26nbsp; %3C/span%3EPrepare monthly budget reports for CS leaders, including reconciliation of FTE, Contractors, and all expenses across cost centers.%3Cspan style=%22mso-spacerun:yes;%22%3E%26nbsp;%26nbsp; %3C/span%3EManage all expense tracking and associated reports monthly, identifying errors and savings opportunities and be prepared to explain variances against plan and present to operations leaders as required.%3Cspan style=%22mso-spacerun:yes;%22%3E%26nbsp; %3C/span%3ERepresent CS in the monthly OPEX call. Serve as the central point of contact for key vendor spend across all operations teams (i.e. call center vendor) .%3Cspan style=%22mso-spacerun:yes;%22%3E%26nbsp; %3C/span%3ECollaborate with operations colleagues to obtain and understand the required information. Monitor SAP expenses weekly and re-class entries as necessary at month end after coordinating with corresponding departments.%3Cspan style=%22mso-spacerun:yes;%22%3E%26nbsp; %3C/span%3EProvide ad hoc reporting to CS leadership as requested.
