Zurich is looking for a driven and dynamic Claims Operations Manager to lead our high performing Claims Shared Services team across multiple locations! In this pivotal role, you will take charge of a talented group of operations and administrative professionals, guiding, coaching, and developing, all while shaping a culture of excellence and collaboration. You will be at the center of operational innovation, serving as a subject matter expert in claims support processes and helping to streamline workflows, elevate service quality, and deliver real impact across the organization.

While the model provides a high level of flexibility and autonomy, occasional circumstances requiring in office attendance should be expected. The selected candidate must be able to work on a hybrid schedule and report to one of Zurich's North American Claims offices, located in Schaumburg, IL; Atlanta, GA; Addison, TX; Maitland, FL; Omaha, NE; Overland Park, KS; Parsippany, NJ; Rocky Hill, CT; Gold River, CA; or New York, NY.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims, Legal or Administrative area
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims, Legal or Administrative area
OR - High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Claims, Legal or Administrative area
AND
- Microsoft Office Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret data to support strategic decision making
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated expertise in process improvement and simplification initiatives
- Prior experience or background in the insurance industry preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience multi-tasking and prioritizing deliverables
At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Additional rewards may encompass short-term incentive bonuses and merit increases. We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education.
The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary range for this position is $58,700.00 - $96,200.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
