Your Role
As the Emergency Management & Security Operations Specialist, you’ll oversee the delivery of a high-performing Emergency Management Program across Australia. Your role ensures emergency response capabilities are not only compliant but exceed regulatory standards, are tailored to operational needs, and evolve with emerging risks. You’ll also support broader security operations, including threat management and incident response.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and deliver a best-in-class Emergency Management Program across a multi-site Australian portfolio, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
Develop and manage emergency procedures, training packages, and warden communications tailored to hybrid workforce needs.
Respond to emergencies in real time, conduct post-incident reviews, audits, and provide risk mitigation advice and detailed reporting.
Support security operations, including threat management, daily briefings, and operational requirements.
Establish and maintain an assurance framework with audit schedules, tools, and templates, while participating in on-call operations as needed.
This is a permanent role with exciting opportunities for growth and learning and open to candidates based in Gadigal Country (Sydney) and Naarm (Melbourne).
About You
Excellent experience in emergency management frameworks and program delivery.
Strong background in security operations and incident response.
A high level of attention to detail, organisational skills, critical thinking and adaptability.
Experience in post-incident reviews, audits and risk reporting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and collaboration platforms.
In-depth knowledge of emergency infrastructure and systems.
Qualification or equivalent experience in Public Safety, Emergency Management, and Auditing.
Experience in corporate security environments and multi-site operations.
Qualification in Training & Assessment (highly regarded but not essential).
Willingness to travel interstate as required.
